NIOS Class 10 Board Exams 2025: Important Information and Time Table
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was established to provide flexible learning opportunities for students up to the pre-degree level. Originally launched as a CBSE project in 1979, it became an independent institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education) in 1989.
Key Highlights of NIOS:
Provides Secondary, Senior Secondary, and Vocational courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
Offers self-instructional study materials, audio and video lessons, radio and TV broadcasts, and online learning through Mukta Vidya Vani.
Allows flexible learning for students who may not be able to attend regular schools.
Conduct personal contact programs (PCP) through Accredited Institutions for additional academic support.
Caters to a wide range of learners, including school dropouts, working professionals, and differently-abled students.
The NIOS Class 10 theory exams will be held from April 9 to May 19, 2025. All exams will take place in a single afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
